The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual who is seeking a career in science and engineering. The Operations Intern will work alongside our VP of Operations and Senior Management staff on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy collecting/analyzing data to report on results.
Responsibilities
The selected intern will spend time on the operations floor conducting time studies for the color matching process. This is important as we are a designer of décor paper and film. Once data is collected, you will collaborate with members of manufacturing to identify areas for improvement and assist with implementing next steps. This position requires data collection, analysis, and reporting of results.
Requirements
- Pursuit of a B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Biology or related scientific fields.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation and Applicant Instructions
$17.00 per hour, flexible schedule to be discussed at Interview, maximum 29 hours per week. Fully in-person.
Example of schedule: Monday – Wednesday with half day Thursday to allow for a long weekend.
