Berkshire Interns is one of Lever's Workforce Programs, focused on placing college students at summer internships with local employers.
How we help
We place college students and recent grads in paid internships at leading Berkshire businesses. We help our interns with professional development, networking, and adjusting to life in the Berkshires.
Today’s workforce needs new and diverse perspectives. BI also helps create opportunities for students from underrepresented groups through the Berkshire Internship Prep Program.

The BI Program is designed to make sure you’re ready to learn, contribute, and build a professional network. BI staff are
here to help with professional development, including a two-day career readiness orientation, and can help connect you
with things like housing and transportation for the summer.
We check in with you—and your employer—throughout the process. We use your feedback to adjust the program every
year, which means you make an impact for future interns along with the valuable contributions you’re making at work.
