Robin’s Candy is an established retail destination based in downtown Great Barrington, MA for visitors throughout the region. Robin’s Candy is home to fine, hand-crafted chocolates, American classics, imported delicacies, and the country’s largest selection of licorice- perfect for customers of all ages!

The Opportunity 

This is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurial-minded candidates planning to open a business or enter their family business.

Each summer we hire a Business Management Intern to partner with our manager and to help  “take-over” running the shop during our busiest season. With hands-on experience, you will learn the mindset, skillset, and risk tolerance necessary to own and run a retail business. 

Requirements 

• Interest in sales and guest services
• Pass a CORI/SORI background check (this is required for all staff)
• Ability to make the commute to and from the shop

Past interns tell us our work experience helped them refine their plans to enter the business field.

Compensation and Applicant Instructions 

 $20-28/hr based on experience. Training hours in preparation for internship responsibilities are compensated at minimum wage. 

Work hours are generally between 10am-6:30pm. Preference is given to candidates able to work at least one weekend day each week.
