Marketing/Sales Opportunity

Our internship is ideal for someone interested in learning the ins and outs of a fast-paced and dynamic print business.  We serve the local community with design, print, and production of marketing materials and personal print publications, while also working with local summer institutions (camps and performing arts organizations) to provide marketing assistance during their peak operating time.

We will cover advertising sales – prospecting lists of businesses for a college community, cold call business for sales opportunities in a print publication, and design of ads for submission.

There is opportunity to learn multiple pieces of equipment for production of gift items, promotional products and sales items for our retail store.  Our intern will work in sublimation, uv-led printing, laser engraving, direct to garment printing as well as print/cut vinyl production. Even printing on cookies!

This opportunity gives our intern an opportunity to see the entire operation from the time an order is placed to final product.

Qualifications 

The ideal intern will be majoring in Business, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, or a similar subject. A special interest in small business ownership and print production is a plus. We genuinely seek a diverse staff and encourage applications regardless of academic major.

We are seeking a candidate who is a great communicator and team player.  An ideal candidate will have proficiency in graphic design programs (Adobe Suite), and also Microsoft programs.  We are looking for someone who is not opposed to standing for a full shift and is able to multi-task well.

Compensation and Application 

The summer internship will run for 12 weeks from early June through August.

Our compensation is designed to provide a generous package. Interns can earn an hourly wage in excess of $15/hr. Hours are flexible.
