Job Summary: The IT Intern assists with help desk support tickets. Helps resolve issues for users with printers, phones, logon issues, AV and 365. May also work on small programming and reporting tasks as needed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists with Help Desk support tickets, Avaya Phone System, and maintenance of MS 365.
- Assists with physical network cleanup work. Ensuring users are on the wired network, standardize network rooms etc.
- Assists as needed with networking and configurations.
- Works with other IT team members on priority projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors:
- Must have a high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience using Zoom and Microsoft Teams videoconferencing.
- Ability to follow detailed directions and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Compensation and Application:
The internship will run a full 10 weeks from early June to August.
This role would be a 30–40-hour internship, paying $17 per hour. The schedule will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm.
