Berkshire Interns is a Lever Workforce Program, focused on placing college students at summer internships with local employers.
How we help
We connect college students to paid internships at leading businesses in Berkshire County,
offering new and diverse perspectives to today’s workforce. The employers we work with don’t
want someone to get coffee- they want young people with unique experiences who are ready to
make an impact at work. All of our internships pay at least Massachusetts minimum wage for
full-time work during the course of 10 weeks.
Internships since 2018 when Berkshire Interns began.
Companies partnered with us since 2018.

Internship Support
The BI Program is designed to make sure you’re ready to learn, contribute, and build a professional network. BI staff are
here to help with professional development, including a two-day career readiness orientation, and can help connect you
with things like housing and transportation for the summer.
We check in with you—and your employer—throughout the process. We use your feedback to adjust the program every
year, which means you make an impact for future interns along with the valuable contributions you’re making at work.
