Provisions Williamstown is a specialty food and wine retail operation based in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Our mission is to provide customers with a curated selection of fine dining ingredients at accessible price points.

Opportunity:

Provisions Williamstown is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Specialty Food and Wine Intern. This internship is perfect for someone age 21 and over who is interested in pursuing a career in the specialty food and wine industry and wants to gain hands-on experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and answering any questions they may have
• Participate in store promotions and events, such as tastings and product launches
• Learn about and taste a variety of specialty food and wine products, and develop product knowledge
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the store is running smoothly and efficiently

Requirements:

• Passion for specialty food and wine and a desire to learn more about the industry
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to take on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a retail setting, with a focus on developing skills related to inventory management, customer service, and product knowledge. Our preferred start date is late May (negotiable) to mid August.
