The Opportunity

Unistress is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) whom will be responsible for project coordination from estimating through delivery including performance and client satisfaction.  Taking projects at handover from the sales team and developing the project through the quoting process and, when won, handling project information in coordination with operations management.  The APM will assist the Project Manager in establishing the budget and the tracking of performance to that budget.

Responsibilities may also include, but are not limited to: reviewing specifications and educating team members on the project requirements; assisting the PM in ensuring the overall quality and coordination of work performed satisfies Unistress standards; and liaison between Project Team, client representatives, contractor representatives, and Engineer of Record.



The ideal intern will be a highly motivated individual working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or Engineering. Must have adequate knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Outlook. The intern must pay great attention to detail; demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills; and have the ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.

Must be comfortable working under pressure in a fast paced environment. Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, specification and print analysis.


Compensation and Application

The internship will run a full 10 weeks from June 6 to August 12, 2022. The intern will be required to work 40 hours per week and will be compensated $14.25/hour.
